SmoothSkin Bare+ uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to zap the hair follicle. The heat makes most of the follicles in that area die, stopping the hair from growing. And with 100 flashes per minute, the SmoothSkin Bare+ is the fastest IPL device on the market.

More flashes means quicker results. You can expect to see less hair growth after 4 weeks of 10 minute treatments. And 10 minutes is enough to treat the whole body on one of the two IPL hair removal settings.

Plus, the skin sensor will stop the device if it's not safe to flash any area because the skin tone is too dark or it's not laying flat enough.

Step 1: Start with dry, freshly-shaved skin.

Step 2: Lay the device flat on your skin where you want to remove hair.

Step 3: The device will scan your skin and start flashing if your skin tone is suitable. (Very dark skin tones and grey, red or white hair won't work.)

Step 4: Switch to Glide Mode for continuous flashes as you work over large areas or Stamp Mode for small areas like Bikini.

Step 5: When you're done, apply a moisturiser.

Customise your sessions to target any unwanted hair. Choose Glide Mode for large areas and Stamp Mode for small areas. In 10 minute sessions each week, you'll start to notice less hair in 4 weeks.

Remember, SmoothSkin Bare+ is only for those with skin type I to V on the Fitzpatrick Scale. You can't use it on white, grey or red hair. And you can't use it on very dark skin tones (VI on the Fitzpatrick Scale), because it can cause skin damage.

After the first 12 weeks, just top-up every 2-4 weeks to remain hair-free. And it's fast! Do your full legs in 9 minutes, underarms in 30 seconds, bikini line in 30 seconds and upper lip in 10 seconds.

Who Can Use SmoothSkin?

SmoothSkin is suitable for those with skin type I to V according to the Fitzpatrick Scale. It is not suitable for use on white, grey or red hair.

Since grey and white hair do not contain enough or any melanin, IPL treatment will never work on these hair colours. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is also not responsive to IPL.

SmoothSkin is also not suitable for very dark skin tones (VI on the Fitzpatrick Scale), as it can cause skin damage.
