I have been using the JOVS IPL laser now for about two months. I used it everyday for two weeks then went to 4xweek and am now doing 2-4 treatments every week and have seen the hairs on my legs and face slowed in growth. Of course there are stubborn areas where the hair is coarser and need a little extra care. But for an at home affordable device I am pretty impressed. I love the cooling feature and the SR feature, even though probably not meant for it, has seemed to help my eczema (I tested a patch). It takes a lot of patience but as you go on your full body treatment becomes more efficient and takes less time. When I first started a full body zap took about 30min. Now I’m a pro and have less hair growth it takes about 15min. Unfortunately the nozzle started to become loose which I thought odd and now has disconnected from the wand and the wires are exposed so no more treatments for me. It had a ways to travel so perhaps it was jostled around in the shipment phase? Otherwise, I’d recommend IPL as a means to rid your pesty follicles.

I wanted to love this hair removal product but there are definitely some flaws. First being I have light skin and dark hair which should make me ideal for hair removal with this device. I have been using it weekly as direct on the highest setting for about 8 weeks now and I see minimal reduction in hair growth on my legs and zero hair reduction in my bikini area. This has been VERY disappointing. The most annoying thing is that the laser seems to overheat and shuts off frequently. I end up spending quite a bit of time waiting for it to cool down so that it’ll work again while I’m using it on my legs. I could see this maybe being an issue if I were a large person and there was a lot of surface area to laser. I am 5’5” and 125 pounds. I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for larger individuals with more surface area to cover. Honestly the only positive is the design. It’s comfortable to hold and the feature that allows you to adjust the direction of the laser is great. There is also a feature that allows the laser to flash automatically as long as it is touching your skin which is a fantastic design so that you don’t have to push the button for every flash. Also, I love the box that stores everything neatly. Bottom line, would I buy this again or recommend it to others? Sadly, no. It looks great but doesn’t work as expected.

Have been using this product for a month, I used it on my armpit, bikini and legs every next day. I'd say it's pretty easy to use for a beginner, if you want to see the result asap just jump straight to lv6. It's not painful at all. The only thing i have to complain is the weight of the machine, it's a little bid heavy when it comes to using it on the legs area.

I used to shave everyday, after 3 weeks, the hair in the armpit and legs area barely re-grow already. Now I don't feel like I have to shave already since the newly grown hair are much thinner and sheerer than before. Yet I am still waiting to see the result around my bikini area.

I've used the device for 3 months and my hair is exactly the same as it was at the beginning. I mention that I've used the right ends for each area, the correct setting, I gradually increased the intensity and I have relatively fair skin with black hair. I was very disappointed, it didn't work on any body area!
