Nowhere on our body is immune from the signs of ageing. But how often do you focus on your hands? After all, it’s often the area that shows your age before anywhere else. Wrinkles, dryness, age spots and more, it’s safe to say that our hands can easily be forgotten about when it comes to skincare routines. That is until now.
The brand-new CURRENTBODY skin LED Hand Perfector is revolutionising hand care. The device combines dual wave red and infrared light, and has the equivalent of 72 individual LEDS, to improve your hands inside-out. Not only will they look softer, younger and healthier but any joint pain will be reduced too. LED red light therapy is also used professionally for skin healing and scar reduction. This means you can use it before and after aesthetic treatments.
All you need to do is spend 20 minutes, 3-5 times a week for best results.
What's Included
WHAT IS LED THERAPY?
NASA was first to use red light when they found it was successful in stimulating plant growth in outer space. With this knowledge, in the 1990s, researchers began to look into red light and how it could be used for medical reasons.
It was soon discovered that the light could stimulate the body’s natural repair and rejuvenation processes in its cells, skin and muscle.
The new CURRENTBODY skin LED Hand Perfector has been created using medical-grade technology. This means that our latest LED device has the same efficacy as a professional treatment.
You can find out more about LED therapy here.
WHY IT WORKS
The CURRENTBODY skin LED Hand Perfector combines red light (633nm) and near infrared light (830) to repair, renew and rejuvenate your skin deep below. Red light energises the skin’s cells, giving them the fuel they need to repair. Put simply, it feeds the skin, allowing it to work better and do so with a radiant glow. With this fuel, the skin can reverse signs of ageing naturally and improve pigmentation.
Near-infrared works in the skin’s deepest layer to promote healing. The light is absorbed by the wound healing cells, stimulating the skin to repair itself and generate new, healthy skin. But that’s only the start. Near-infrared will continue to work, even after the light is switched off. Put simply, the skin’s cells benefit from increased food and oxygen which means they can regenerate and repair over time.
IT'S AS SIMPLE AS
Step 1: Ensure your hands are clean. Any skincare or dirt can block the LED and reduce its effectiveness.
Step 2: Gently massage in 2-3 drops of the CURRENTBODY skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum immediately before using the LED device. Designed to enhance your results, the serum will hydrate deep within, encouraging fresher and plumper skin.
Step 3: Place your hand in the device and switch it on. After 10 minutes, the device will automatically switch off. Then, repeat the treatment on your other hand. The treatment is completely painless and does not feel hot or uncomfortable.
Step 4: Finish your treatment with your favourite hand moisturiser.
It’s recommended that you use the device 3-5 times per week for 4 weeks for visible results.
