Having long layers in my hair, it is sometimes hard to curl with wands and straighteners without looking like Crystal Tipps (google if you need to!). I really like these curling bands. More so, I love the the fact they are heated in the microwave and not poker hot and so reduce any potential heat damage. I found it tricky at first to curl my hair over the bands but, after a couple of attempts, I got the hang of it. I left the bands in for 30 minutes - unsure if that was long enough as there were no instructions in this regard inside the box. When I took the bands out, there wasn't exactly a Rapunzel moment, but I did like the effect which was a relaxed curl... perfect for sunny days to come!

I've naturally poker straight hair that takes a lot to hold a curl. I used the 1" kit and seriously impressed by its results. To get good results, make sure you've got good tension with your hair as you wrap it and if someone can help do the very back of your hair, all the better.

I tried this the day of my Christmas party and it's an absolute god send! It's so easy and quick to use and take just 25 minutes to create a professional blow out look. The best thing about it is you can get on with doing something else whilst your hair is curling, I left mine in for 20 minutes and it created a natural wave but you could leave in for longer if you wanted to create a more dramatic look.
