Updated from my last review below...I originally tried this with days where i had a more simple routine for my skincare to really see if the results were better, and I still stand by my previous review, HOWEVER, a word of warning, I recently started to add back in my alternative treatments, i.e. AHA/BHA and then use by serums, and moisturisers, and sadly even with all the products on after the AHA treatment this gel burned my skin, as if I had been sunburned badly. It was only over the areas where I had gel, so for example I started on my forehead, that went stingy and bright red immediately, the rest of my face was not red, even where I had my treatment so I went ahead and tried the left side with the same red burning results, and again with the right. I could not even finish using the Jenu plus as my face was on fire. I washed the gel and all my moisturiser and serum off and put on Avene thermal water and Avene Cicalfate to calm everything back down and my poor skin stayed fire red for over an hour, gradually it calmed down and when I got up in the AM it was fine, no blistering or anything but it was so painful to start. All I can assume is that because this gel contains alcohol it may have reacted to my already fresh skin, despite it being coated in other products first. Also, to note, these were at home AHA/BHA wipes, not extremely strong and nothing that my skin had on it before, (this reaction was not post a salon level peel).
