What is the FOREO Luna FoFo?

With the knowledge that happy skin is hydrated skin, FOREO set out to create a device that helps you achieve just that. Using 24k gold skin sensors, the cleansing device, measures your skin’s moisture levels and condition to create a customised cleansing routine. Plus, unlike other cleansing devices, the Luna FoFo is made of silicone bristles, which are quick-drying and prevent bacteria build-up. The two-zone cleansing surface is suitable for every skin type, with finer touch-points being ideal for larger areas like the cheeks and forehead and thicker touch points to target oil-prone areas, like the T-zone and chin for a deep and precise clean.

How Does the FOREO Luna FoFo Work?

The FoFo uses state-of-the-art skin sensors on the back of the device, engineered to measure hydration levels and real skin age. A sophisticated algorithm then processes this feedback to reveal skin’s vital stats via the FOREO For You app, as well as deliver personalised tips and tricks for optimal skin health.

Based on this information, the FOREO FoFo automatically creates a customised program of T-Sonic pulsations that syncs direct to your device. What that means is that you’re not just cleaning your face with any skincare routine – FoFo has developed a bespoke approach that’s perfectly optimised for you.

The device is fully waterproof and powered by two replaceable AAA batteries. With it lasting up to 400 uses (that's enough for a whole year!) on one set of batteries and made from ultra-hygienic silicone, the Luna FoFo is the perfect travel buddy and kind to the environment.

How Do You Get Started With the FOREO Luna FoFo?

Good question and one that we have the answer to. Check out our quick start guide to using your brand new FOREO Luna FoFo.

3. Analyse Your Skin

Remove all make-up and wash your face before you analyse your skin. The app will prompt you to analyse each section of your face with two sensors on the back of your Luna FoFo. Afterwards, the app will create a personalised skincare routine that is saved on your device. By clicking on the button DONE the app will disconnect from the device, ready to be used. Press the ON button on your Luna FoFo and start with the cleanse. Remember, you don’t have to use the app to clean your skin.

4. The Analysis Results

Once scanning is complete, you'll receive an in depth report based on the results the FoFo has gathered. Here you'll learn your 'skin's age' along with the hydration levels and how you can improve it.

5. Cleanse Your Face

Lightly dampen your face and apply cleanser to the skin or directly to the Luna FoFo. Use the Luna FoFo in circular motions and a vibration will prompt you to move to the next section of your face. It automatically turns off when the routine is complete.

6. Update Personal Routine

Most of you will see an immediate difference to the look and feel of your skin within a few days. Repeat the analyse step 3 every two weeks to update your cleansing routine. We recommend you cleanse your face twice daily.

It's not just the FoFo from FOREO that is leading the way with integrated smartphone technology. The FOREO UFO 2 and UFO Mini 2 Smart Mask devices also pair with the same app as the FoFo, meaning you truly can have a personalised facial without having to leave the comfort of your home.
