Our Expert View
Looking for permanently smoother skin? The Sensica Sensilight 300,000 flashes device is powered by the brand’s all-new, clinically proven RPL technology to remove unwanted hairs for good.
Otherwise known as Reactive Pulsed Light (RPL), it's an evolution of popular IPL technology. It uses unique sensors that assess the skin's colour and contact with every pulse, only releasing flashes for use on suitable areas. This unique technique stops hair growth at the follicle level for lasting results.

RPL technology uses clinically-tested light therapy to deliver powerful light pulses to the hair shaft, generating heat and stopping growth at the root.
This non-invasive treatment method is safe to use, pain free and delivers permanent results when following an 8 week treatment schedule.
Ideal for use on the face and body, the FDA-cleared device is most effective on lighter skin tones and dark hair.
Who Can Use Sensica?
Sensica is suitable for those with skin type I to IV according to the Fitzpatrick Scale. It is not suitable for use on blonde, white, grey or red hair.
Since light blonde, grey and white hair do not contain enough or any melanin, IPL treatment will never work on these hair colours. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is also not responsive to IPL.
Sensica is also not suitable for dark skin tones, as it can cause skin damage such as burns, blisters or discolouring.
